The Google WordPress plugin is an official Google product developed and supported by Google – which is why I’m keeping my eye on it. You can download it now at the WordPress plugin directory: Google Publisher Plugin.
Google WordPress Plugin Beta Functionality
This beta version of the Google Publisher Plugin allows you to:
- Easily add AdSense ads to your site to make money from advertising.
- Verify your site with Webmaster Tools with just one click.
- Manage your AdSense account and access Webmaster Tools from the plugin.
- Click to add advertisements to your site.
- Create different placements for each page template.
- View the layout for each page, with advertisement areas visualized next to your content flow.
- Preview example advertisements alongside your content.

hmm…..I wonder what other Google products they will be integrating into this Google WordPress plugin. Here is a screen shot of the plugin in the WordPress dashboard.
